My first commissioned blacksmith project was making a decorative wall hanging that also served as a place to hang up the good Doctor's sneakers to dry out before coming into his house.

I have also been commissioned to make fireplace grates and tools, signs, garden sculptures, speciality brackets and braces.

Teaching

There’s no mistakes in blacksmithing, just more chances to blacksmith.

Have Scotty come to teach at your retreat center/camp and integrate the lessons into your programing. Or, book private blacksmithing lessons at Scotty’s studio or yours.

Scotty doesn't build high bikes for people but he will help you build one of your own.

Model of the Divince Dance

¼ Scale Model
Stands just over 4’ tall. The 3 “wings: are made of 1” square tubing and ¼”plate for the feet. It has a natural rust patina, just like the original. The base is made of 4” reinforced concrete trefoil pad. $3,800. It can be powder coat painted in many colors for an additional $700.

1/16 Scale (1’ tall)
Stands just over one foot tall. The 3 “wings: are made of ¼” square mild steel and ⅛” plate for the feet. It has a natural rust patina, like the original. The base is made of a ¾” slab of wood cut into a trefoil pad. $300

This allowed our team to get a fuller understanding of Scotty’s vision for the project and its grew to its final size of over 16 feet. Scotty has a deep understanding of outdoor space and the balance of the sculpture and its harmonious flow with the surrounding landscape.”
